One of the benefits of Square Foot Gardening is the ability to harvest one square foot and reseed the square immediately for a consecutive crop. So as you finish your radishes,spinach, lettuce, etc. don't hesitate to mix in a trowel of compost and plant another short season crop. Even in Montana there still may be time for more!
